  AUTO VARIABLE 9-13
  Suitable for Arc, Mig/Mag, Tig and Plasma welding. Automatically protects the operator from eye injuries caused by arc, leaving both hands free. Equipped with two sets of photosensors to sense arc light. Solar power relieves the need for batteries. Offers permanent UV/IR protection up to DIN 15 whilst in use. Welding shade can be easily selected by way of a side mounted adjustment dial. Automatically detects weld arc and switches from shade 4 to pre-selected shade (9, 10, 11, 12 or 13). Time to dark: 0.5ms. The shells are certified to BS EN 175: 1997 for eye and face protection. They can withstand a temperature of 650°C from the end of the electrode for five seconds, without burning. The electronic lenses are certified to DIN EN 169 and DIN 179. Solar powered, no battery required. 2 year warranty.

  Designed to automatically protect the user’s eyes from arc light damage and leave both hands free to increase accuracy, efficiency and therefore productivity. Fitted with automatic filters that are transparent before welding, it enables the operator to observe the workpiece clearly. When striking the arc, the filter darkens automatically with immediate effect. When the arc goes out, the filter will become transparent again. The switching time from light to dark is approximately 0.0001 seconds, and the switching time from dark to light may be set at between 0.1 – 0.5 second.
  Dual power: battery and solar.
  Light to dark: 0.0001 seconds
  Dark to light: 0.1 – 0.5 seconds
