Fitted with automatic filters that are transparent before welding, it enables the operator to observe the workpiece clearly. When striking the arc, the filter darkens automatically with immediate effect. When the arc goes out, the filter will become transparent again. The switching time from light to dark is approximately 0.0001 seconds, and the switching time from dark to light may be set at between 0.1 – 0.5 second.
